My favourite proverb/saying/motto

It was very hard for me to choose just one motto because there are lots of good ones. But I think, I made the right decision with this one:

In the end, everything will be fine... and if it´s not fine,  it´s not the end!

I chose this one, because I think, that we all need a happy end in our lifes and even if it sometimes seems like the brutal and hard world really don´t like us, we have to remember that there´s always a pretty side of life. Everybody has to fight with problems, sometimes with big ones, sometimes with little ones. But the fact is, that nobody knows what could happen in future. And as a very positive and optimistic person, I just HAVE to believe, that there always will be beautiful times of life. Sometimes, you just have to wait a bit longer for them.

And that´s the point. That´s because the motto is so important to me. It tells you, to never give up, no matter how dark all seems. Just remember, that there always will be a positive surprise for you. Just wait, it will come.

The four pillars

Tradition, Honor, Discipline, Excellence:  these are the four pillars of Welton Academy.  The key to success for the students from Welton Academy rests on these four pillars. They also have to become the cornerstones of the student's lifes. If you want to have a great future, you have to follow these pillars. But why? Why are these words so important?  That´s because of that, what they represent. Each pillar has its own personal meaning.  Tradition  represents the love of school, country and family. The tradition of Welton Academy is of course to be the best.  Honor represents dignity and the fulfillment of duty. Discipline represents respect for parents, teachers and headmasters. Discipline comes from within. Excellence represents the results of hard work. It´s the key to all success, in school and everywhere.  The kids are taught that they only can be successful in live when they follow these important rules. They are called pillars because the whole school system is bui

Characterisation Todd Anderson

Although I like most of the characters in this book, my favourite character is Todd Anderson. In the book, he´s one of the main characters and plays a very important role in it.  In the beginning, Todd is very shy and quiet, in general, a very isolated and lonely person. I think Todd never really had his own personal "moment to shine" because he always stands in the shadow of his older and very successful brother. His parents actually don´t really care about him, for example, they give their son the same presents for two years because they forgot, what he likes and already have. If you grow up with a family like this, it´s normal to become sad and isolated. But in his new school, Welton Academy, he finds good friends like Neil who help him to become more open. Also his favourite teacher Mr Keating makes him more communicative, brave and self-confident. He begins to write his own poems, which are very good. At the end of the book, he also finds the c

Neil´s death- who is to blame?

At the end of the book, Neil Perry commits suicide. He shoot himself with a gun from his father. Normally, Neil was a very enthusiastic and happy person, that´s why many couldn't understand why he would do something like that. Why committed somebody like Neil, a person who is loved by so many people, suicide? What happened? Who is to blame for this? If somebody decides to take his own life, something really bad must have happened. I think Neil thought about this for a long time and didn´t just does it. He had a very hard life, he always had to be perfect for his strict father, his whole life was already planned for him. He would go to Welton Academy, then to a famous university and then become a doctor. That´s what Neils father wants. But Neil is a freethinker. A unique person with own dreams for the future. He loved acting and he also was very good at it. The acting was his life dream, it meant everything to him. And he probably couldn´t live without it. His world collapse
